Both audiovisual poem that, starting with music composition, joins dance and performance around the concept of emptiness. The piece poses a reflection on emptiness from two different perspectives: the state of containing nothing and the quality of having no value or purpose. Containing soundspace, illumination, scenography and physical theatre, ‘Emptiness’ can remind of works by Pina Bausch or Dimitri Papaioannou. Through the convergence of different artistic disciplines the artists try to connect with the audience, who after all is a part of society, to make the concept of emptiness more comprehensible and a subject of discussion.
