Joana Cifre Cerda

Lincoln School of Art and Design

Presenting twenty televisions scattered on the floor of a room as a flock, with each television displaying a looped film of a person baaing as if they were a sheep, Joana Cifre Cerda's Ramat is a video installation that comments on the human need to belong to a group, the impossibility of escaping our sense of loneliness, and the effect that peer pressure and media have on individuals.
