Artist Sarah Doherty helps objects regain their fictional potential through transformation, amplification, and displacement. Ruins shapes and sculpts memory by unearthing the contradictions inherent to spaces and objects. The installation incorporates a number of individual objects made from various materials such as concrete, plaster, steel, and wood. Each object is absorbed in human presence. Pillow-cases, blankets, and towels are cast frozen in time.
